Lately my dog has been spending a lot of time watching CNN.This is not by choice; she is not an avid cable television news viewer, although she has been known to snarl any time Don Lemon appears onscreen. Furthermore, many people fear that revealing themselves as gay would make them look bad and they are forced to keep it a secret.Till the date, Don Lemon has never ever been involved in any kind of relationship.During an on-air interview with members of Bishop Eddie Long's congregation in September 2010, Lemon said that he was a victim of sexual abuse as a child, and that it was not until he was thirty years old that he told his mother about it. He got his ear pierced on live TV but was still eclipsed by Mariah Carey’s trainwreck performance on New Year’s Eve. In the above video, Lemon can be heard rambling for ages about his love life (on CNN) while Brooke Baldwin nodded along: “I live my life to the fullest. I am no longer confident in his ability as a Black journalist, he is no longer an inspiration for Black journalists who are working just as hard as he did. Lemon should know better; he is one of the few African-Americans in that field and yet he is adding fuel to the constant fire that we are working tirelessly to extinguish.
He majored in broadcast journalism at Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York, and attended Louisiana State University.
It doesn't matter how many black dudes or girls you've slept with or that your best friends are black or that your best friend's dog is black or even that you live in the "ghetto"; if you're not black that word should not leave your mouth.
Attention professional weather prognosticators, TV meteorologists, National Hurricane Center forecasters and anyone whose number one conversation topic centers around Fourth of July weekend atmospheric conditions. These gentrified zones that we tend to migrate to as an "escape" don't need us as much as they need the incomes associated with us.
Battling obscurantism does not mean we are saints of any kind.
It means we will not accept a tyrant's bogus paradise, and are free to form our own words and images and make up our own minds.
