The UFC star is set to step into the ring to fight the undefeated boxer with both men already insisting the fight will happen.
Mayweather and Mc Gregor have exchanged verbal spars for the past few months, but with the UFC blocking a fight between the pair no official announcement has been made.
‘On the flip side, there’s so much money involved I just don’t see how it doesn’t happen.
Floyd Mayweather has put pressure on Conor Mc Gregor and the UFC to come to a financial agreement ahead of a potential boxing match between the pair, claiming that he is now “waiting” for clarification having “done my part”.
“She’s only 19 and she’s got a boyfriend,” Mandy Ball told the Daily Mail last month.
If Mc Gregor does use his licence to box then it would be a return to the sport he started at as a youngster back in Ireland.
He began boxing at Crumlin Boxing Club under two-time Olympian Phil Sutcliffe and became an All-Ireland boxing champion at the youth level but made his move into mixed martial arts as an amateur at the age of 18 in 2007.
The fee, date and venue has all been agreed as UFC boss White admitted recently he could not stop the fight from happening.
‘I think it’s going to be a tough deal, because obviously [there are] a lot of egos involved in this deal and a lot of people, so that always makes it tougher.
